Our pups with their new families

Bruno (aka Rolo) is almost 7 months old and weighs
10 kg. He is a wonderful addition to our family. He
is attending puppy classes and learning so quickly.
For such short legs he has amazing jumping
abilities. He is so loving. He even likes to give
lots of loving to our cat; he is forever licking his
face. Bruno thinks he is a lapdog because he is
forever wanting to sit on your lap. You have done an
amazing job at breeding such a wonderful dog.
Thanks!

Hi
Candice,
Happy New year. Oscar (previously Charlie) is such a
joy to have. He is full of life, very playful and
naughty (but in a nice way). He has adjusted really
well but still gets upset when we leave him in his
pen. He has clearly attached himself to me and is my
dog even though close to the others in the family.
He is currently about 10kg and the Vet said he will
grow to about 45 pounds at the rate he is growing
at.

Hi
Candice and Barb,
I
wanted to update you on Ms Zoey. She is doing great
and such a smart little girl she has now finished
Intermediate school and starts Advanced Dog classes
in February. I have included a few new pictures of
the sweet little princess I thought they would look
good in Bailey’s photos of her puppies.

Hi Candice,
I wanted to
share progress and pictures of Pink Girl who we now call Blue.
She is a fantastic dog and so well mannered. She is so
calm, people that meet her are shocked to find out she is only
six months old. She is sweet and easy to be around and has
been really good with our older nine pound poodle named Winnie.
She retrieves easily and is very playful. She loves her
balls. She was spayed last week and hated the cone, but
recovered very quickly. She is 50 pounds and have big
paws, so I will be curious to see how big she will be at a year.
Her coat is getting more silver daily, but has bits of brown in
it.
By the way, she loves her crate as a den and right from the
start never yelped or seemed to be too anxious.
All the best,
Lorie

Candice:
It
has been quite some time since we connected. Lucy is
growing into a beautiful Golden Doodle. She is
finally starting to mature and calm down. She loves
ever moving creature (2 and 4 legged). Hopefully we
can take her to the off-leash parks this spring.
Actually my son and his girlfriend took her on
Sunday. She did very well but still best on leash.
Lucy is loved by all the members of the family and
our daughter and son-in-law have decided they want a
‘Lucy Bear’ someday. She now has run of most of the
house during the day, security system permitting,
and sticks to Norma and I like glue. She loves to
lie at our feet regardless of what we are doing.
Just had her groomed today. They love her and said
she is their favourite (I’m sure they sat that to
everyone). At any rate, she is very healthy, happy
and very active. Enjoy the pictures and feel free to
use them if you wish.

Hi
Candice,
I
hope you and your family are doing well. My husband,
daughter and I adopted Barkley from you in April
2009. Today is Barkley’s 3rd Birthday which made me
think of you so I thought I would send you a couple
of pictures of Barkley from this past year. Barkley
is one of Peaches and Fez’s puppies. He is still the
sweetest dog with the most gentle temperament. He
loves camping, swimming in the lake, boat rides with
his life jacket on, laying on the docks in the sun,
and long walks on the beach. Barkley sleeps on our
bed every night and is the family goofball because
he loves to get a laugh out of everyone. We’ve added
Goliath, a Chihuahua, to our family last year and he
and Barkley have become best buds. I occasionally
try to convince my husband, Darrick, that we need
one more female Goldendoodle to complete the family
but I have yet to convince him! LOL.

Hi Barb,
How are you?
We are soooo in love with Miss Zoe - I know when we drove away
we both fell in love with her instantly. Zoey has not missed a
beat. She loves to eat, play, cuddle, and people OMG she loves
people. I took her to the vet on Friday and she now weighs 6.5
pounds. He said that she is in great shape and what we are
doing seems to be working good for Zoey. She is really getting
along with the cat now (he did not like her at first) and they
are playing and sleeping together (both of them on the bed –
hehehe).
She loves to
play outside and runs and runs. We have really noticed that she
is growing fast. Everyone who meets Zoey just loves her and
everyone wants to take her home. All is really good but the
going outside part – we are struggling a bit. It is hard because
we both work full time. She will get it but it will take a bit
longer for sure.
We really want
to thank you as she has brought so much love, joy, and laughter
into our home. I have attached some pictures so you can see her
and know that she is LOVED SOOOO MUCH and she is doing great.
Take care and
again thanks so much,

Hi Barb!
Hope you are
doing well. I just thought I would send a few pictures along to
show you how Bosco is doing. We're so happy that he's healthy
& happy and growing well!
He has his
first vet appt on Monday and we're sure he'll do well. He is a
joy to our family and he's learning quickly. We're still
working on the potty spot in our back yard but he's mastered
"sit", "lay down" and "speak". He almost has "shake a paw" and
"stay" mastered as well! :) He's been so much fun to train and
we're hoping that we'll again start walking him in our park more
regularly when all this cold rain stops ... we're bound to have
summer weather soon! :) We have a little pen for him in the
kitchen area (much like yours) for when we have to leave the
house for groceries, etc. and he has managed to escape from his
pen! We were so surprised the first time that we came home and
he met us at the garage door instead of sleeping in his pen! We
were so curious as to how this little guy managed such a tall
pen - that we video taped him the following week. He stood up
against the pen on his hind legs (like a human) and with a
combination of a jump and a step up (like climbing a ladder), he
got himself to the top of the pen and then made a very awkward
jump from the top! He is very brave indeed!
Well Barb, we
hope you are doing well and enjoying your spring/summer so far!
We will continue to keep in touch!
Love,
The Bohnerts

I thought I
would send a recent photo of Playa (Lily) for you. Darren
and I both enjoying her so much and we think she is the best
dog ever! We started puppy classes last Monday and while she
loves the people, she isn't too sure about the other dogs.
During play time, she spent most of it under our seat and
then she was so tired she fell asleep about 45 minutes
into the class. Hopefully tonight is a bit better.
Every day
she learns to do something new which is so fun to watch her.
She also has been regularly sleeping through the night for
the past week and a half which is great. At her last
round of shots, she weighed in at around 6.5 pounds.
Over the
weekend we had Darren's parents visiting and they have a dog
that has been fully vaccinated that they brought. While the
first little while she was a bit timid, now she is chasing
him around the house, grabbing his tails and legs and trying
to play. Luckily Nemo is a very docile dog and has been
able to put up with her energy - although he did tell her
today she had gone a bit far which is good, she needs to
learn that.
Anyway, I
just thought I would give you both a bit of an update and
send you a picture. Darren and I will be buying a kiddie
pool for her so that she can really enjoy the water - she
played in this bowl of water for a good 10 minutes before
she spilt it.

Since
Finnegan was a year old on Friday thought I would send a
note to update you. He of course is fantastic, he is 30+
lbs now, its been a little while since I weighed him but
he has filled out and is a "small/ medium sized" solid
boy. I have him completely on the BARF diet, and he
absolutely loves the raw food (I think he eats better
than most people) :). Elk is a favorite of his, the only
slight problem is with the bones, he likes to play with
it first then hide it for a bit, and I am not so keen on
finding it in the furniture - I have learned when to
give it to him!
He is
an awesome travelling companion, he just wants to be
along for the ride with me. He is still quite the
cuddler, and likes to fall asleep on my chest - he's a
man who just wants to be held LOL.
Again,
thank you for my boy, can't imagine life without him now
or even remember what it was like really. Not near as
much fun, that I know - I love my doodle!
Hope
all is well, saw on the website your new additions and
can't wait to see the upcoming litters! All the best,
and take care.

Hello,
Tuck is doing great. He got his second set of shots yesterday
and the vet told me that I have a very healthy dog and that it's
obvious I got him from a very good, organized breeder! Just
thought I'd share that with you :) He is growing like a weed but
is still very handsome. He starts puppy school on March 15 for 6
weeks so I'm looking forward to that! I've attached some recent
photo's of him for you. Hope all is well.

Hi Candice,
I have been
meaning to send an email for so long and it is one of those
things that I have never gotten done.
I have
nothing but great things to say about Bentley; he is such a
wonderful dog. He is so full of energy and loves people and
other dogs. We actually take him to doggie daycare everyday
as we both work full-time. He loves it there and he is
usually played out at the end of the day. I’ve attached a
picture of him that was taken last fall and he hasn’t
changed much except that he is a little bigger and his hair
is much shorter.
I just
wanted to thank you again for breeding such wonderful dogs.

Just
wanted to send you some pics of our man Finnegan on his
first birthday!
He's
doing great, being a great companion and a quick
learner. He is being so good now, we can leave him to
run the house while we're gone and he behaves the whole
time!

Candice,
Nootsie has
been a great puppy since the first minute we picked her up. She
was house trained within a week and learned to walk with a leash
in only a couple of days. She loves to go for runs, walks and
play in the water. She is great with other dogs and small
children and loves to be the center of attention. Everywhere we
go we get stopped and people ask us where we got her. She has
been a joy to be with and have by our side.
Cheers,
Cory and Gina

Hi Candice,
Here are some pictures of Lucy! It's hard to believe she is 8
months old. You can see in the pictures how much she has grown.
We love her so much and are having so much fun with her. We get
complimented on her everywhere we go. She is such a friendly and
loveable dog! I don't know what we would do without her !
Thank you so much for the wonderful addition to our family!

Cocoa
is 11 months now, 18 inches at the shoulders and 30
lbs. This high energy, bundle of hair has been a quick
learner, and has the best disposition ever. Everyone we
meet comments on how friendly (i.e. runs up and rolls
over for every 2 and 4 legged creature she meets!) and
what a good disposition she has. We are very pleased
with our "little red girl" and she has certainly kept us
busy as walks are a must to burn off energy. We love
the doggy park, playing in the snow (no problems with
the cold at all), and Cocoa took to swimming instantly.
Have to say though, I am not fond of her love of
lounging in the mud puddles!

Hi
Candice,
Here
are some pics of our beautiful little Chalet. No matter
where we go we are told how beautiful she is and how
sweet and well behaved she is. She has been a joy to
our family, even Smokey the cat is 'okay' with her now
and even has been seen starting some of the chase
games! We love her so much and can't imagine how life
was without her now. Thank you for allowing us to adopt
her! She is perfect!!!!!
